Our Theme

The Eganville Curling Club has been operating since 1951 but faces the challenge of aging infrastructure. Between maintenance and upkeep, not to mention hydro and heat, it takes a lot of money to run a curling club. Even our curling rocks were chipped and long in the tooth. Recognizing the opportunity to use an empty facility in the summer, the Escape Room is a significant fundraising activity for the club. With money raised since its inception, the club has purchased new curling rocks and upgraded the club house and ice. This year, again keeping with the area’s rich history, we are taking local history and again leaping into fiction.

Our theme is “Reactor Meltdown”. You are touring a nuclear reactor when an earthquake strikes. The group is trapped deep underground in the training simulator. The Main Control Room is destroyed and the situation seems hopeless. Unless your team can find a way to save the day.
