About Escape Room

Escape Rooms were first developed in Japan in 2007, arriving in San Francisco in 2012. They now entertain young and old in over 100 countries. This summer will again see an escape room in Eganville, with a completely new theme for 2023.

The Eganville Curling Club had a great response in previous years’ and we are now open with our newest room, Black Friday for the Avro Arrow. Those who came before should try this year’s escape room and might find it a bit harder and definitely requiring more teamwork. And for those that might have heard about all the excitement but couldn’t do it before, be sure not to miss out on this year’s room. We give hints if you get stuck and we guarantee fun!

The door will not be locked so players can leave if they want. However, the game room will still be challenging and will involve solving a mystery. This will require your group to work efficiently as a team as time is limited to one hour. Ideal for teams of 4 to 6 players, the game is best suited to ages 12 and up (those under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult). Cost is $20/person.

We are delighted to say that our first official time-slot last year was taken as a team-building exercise by the Mayor and Councillors of Bonnechere Valley Township and they had a blast! They will be repeating this exercise again this year!
